FIDYA [ZAKAT ONLY]
Fidya must be paid by those who cannot fast or have missed fasts for a valid reason during Ramadaan. For each fast missed the person must feed a poor person which is equivalent to paying half a saa’ of food. This can be done per day on the day, or as one lump sum where it is know you will not be fasting for the whole month.

Amount to Pay
£5 Fidya per day  OR £150 for the whole month
